2. Description of Service

Mold Triage is a platform that:

• Connects homeowners with licensed mold remediation contractors
• Provides access to AIHA-LAP accredited mold testing laboratories
• Generates AI-powered mold assessment reports and recommendations
• Facilitates exclusive lead purchases by contractors at $100 per lead

3. User Responsibilities

For Homeowners:

• Provide accurate information about mold issues
• Submit genuine photos and property details
• Understand that our service provides connections, not guarantees of remediation
• Make your own decision when hiring contractors

For Contractors:

• Maintain valid, active mold remediation licenses
• Keep insurance coverage (COI) current and valid
• Provide truthful information during registration
• Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations
• Pay $100 per exclusive lead as agreed
• Use leads only for legitimate business purposes

4. Contractor Verification & Licensing

All contractors must:

• Be licensed for mold remediation work
• Have an active license status (no expired or suspended licenses)
• Maintain valid Certificate of Insurance (COI)
• Complete our verification process

Important: Only verified contractors with active licenses and valid insurance can access leads. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate contractor accounts that fail to meet these requirements.

5. Payment Terms

• Contractors pay $100 per exclusive lead
• All payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Lead purchases are final and non-refundable
• We do not guarantee conversion or job completion

6. AI-Powered Assessments

Our AI-powered mold assessment system provides recommendations based on submitted photos and information. These assessments:

• Are for informational purposes only
• Do not constitute professional advice
• Should not replace inspection by licensed professionals
• Are generated using AI technology and may contain errors

7. Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability

No Warranties: The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Not Professional Advice: We do not provide professional mold remediation, medical, or legal advice.

Contractor Independence: Contractors are independent businesses. We are not responsible for their work, conduct, or compliance with laws.

Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Submit false or misleading information
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with the Service's operation
• Attempt to bypass security measures
• Scrape or harvest data without permission

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

11. Account Termination
